We were excited to be granted Special Use Permit last week for ticketed farm-to-table dinners out in the field at our beautiful Cloverbud Ranch property in Portsmouth.  We plan to to bring in guest chefs for western-themed “Trail Drive” Chuck Wagon suppers (4 per season) served in the post-and-beam barn being built in our upper hayfield.  Suppers will be cowboy-style featuring traditional cast iron cooking over open fires out of an original historically complete 1880 Weber chuck wagon we expect to acquire from a wagon restoration expert in Oklahoma.  Join us for a fundraiser hamburger cookout at the ranch on Saturday August 11th.. The barn won’t be finished but you can inspect the progress, check out the herd and learn about our recent pasture renovations that enable us to grow top-quality grass-fed beef.   Learn about the original food truck – the mothership of the great cattle drives..  Donations will be accepted as we prime the pump for a crowdfunding effort that will run through August and September.  Will be going all afternoon.  Feel free to bring friends.  RSVP please so we can gauge food needed.   Thank you for your support and friendship over the years.
